LiBEST, a manufacturer specializing in flexible batteries, won CES 2020 Innovation Award in a world’s leading consumer electronics exhibition on January 7, 2020.
Receiving the Innovation Award means that it is a product or technology that the world should pay attention to this year. Usually, the innovation award is awarded in recognition of the value of the complete product, but it is encouraging that LiBEST was awarded in recognition of the added value of the battery itself and its potential.
LiBEST’s flexible battery has the highest capacity per unit area among existing flexible batteries, and the advantages is that the entire section can be bent stably. Therefore, unlike existing flexible batteries, it can be used in actual products through collaboration with wearable device companies.
Enabling a product design that fits the shape of the human body with its full range of flexibility, and its ability to increase usage time and performance shows the potential to various devices in the future. Based on that potential, LiBEST is currently discussing the design and conception of a product with several global wearable device manufacturers.
